Uniform

Scouting is a uniformed organisation and all members of the Dartford Cambria Sea Scout Group are required to wear uniform. We have the unofficial reputation as the smartest group amongst Dartford Scouts and this is something that we are very proud of.

All members should obtain uniform before they are invested but it is recommended that new members come along for a couple of weeks before deciding to join and buying uniform.

Activity Wear

In addition to uniform the group also have sweatshirts and t-shirts which are to be worn on non uniform activities. This aids in identification, recognition and security whilst also enhancing the profile of the group. These items can be purchased directly from the group.

Beavers & Cubs:

  1. * Blue “scout” trousers
  2. * Blue Sweatshirt (beavers) or Green Sweathsirt (Cubs)
  3. * White group scarf
  4. * Woggle
  5. * Smart black shoes
  6. * Group baseball hat (we prefer the group hat rather than the official scout one)

Some Beaver and Cub Scouts tend to wear school skirts or trousers with their jumper and this is also fine.

The scout trousers and sweatshirts can be purchased from many local shops (Bluewater John Lewis is generally easiest) or online. The group scarf and hat can be purchased directly from the group.
